Where does the dance floor go at The 62?

There is no fixed layout in the barn, so the floor lands wherever you and your planner want it. We set the booth and the lighting around that decision rather than the other way round.

Can you cover the ceremony as well as the reception?

Yes. Ceremony sound is its own setup rather than a speaker borrowed from the reception rig, and a lapel mic is included for your officiant.

Do you bring a photo booth to The 62?

Yes. One team handles the DJ, the photo booth and the uplighting on one contract, so there is one load-in and one point of contact instead of three vendors coordinating with each other.

The 62 wedding venue

The 62 sits on Athens Highway just outside Madison, surrounded by Georgia pines and open pasture. The main reception space is a classic white barn featuring a metal roof and an open center bay.

Ceremonies are outside in the neighboring field, so you'll need dedicated ceremony sound instead of a speaker aimed out of the barn door. Afterward, dinner and dancing are back inside to keep the party going late into the night.

Getting to The 62 in Madison

The 62 is about half an hour from downtown Athens and roughly an hour east of Atlanta, with I-20 running through Madison. That makes it an easy drive for guests coming from either city, and Madison itself has places for people to stay the night.
