Where does the dancing happen at The Wimbish House?

The ballroom is where we set up the dance floor. The parlors and garden usually hold the ceremony, cocktails and dinner.

What time does the music end at The Wimbish House?

It is inside Atlanta city limits, so outdoor sound is limited after 11pm Sunday to Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday, and the venue sets its own end time. We plan the last song around both.

Can you cover the ceremony as well as the reception?

Yes. Ceremony sound is its own setup rather than a speaker borrowed from the reception rig, and a lapel mic is included for your officiant.

Do you bring a photo booth to The Wimbish House?

Yes. One team handles the DJ, the photo booth and the uplighting on one contract, so there is one load-in and one point of contact instead of three vendors coordinating with each other.

The Wimbish House is a 1920s French-style mansion on Peachtree in Midtown, home of the Atlanta Woman’s Club, with a ballroom, formal parlors and a garden.

A house wedding means planning where the dance floor goes. We set up in the ballroom and keep the parlors for dinner and cocktails.
